An interactive module from BIO1050 visually showing the correletaion between the pollution created by America automobiles and fedral Café Standards. Additionally this module shows the effect of tax incentives and hybrid vehicles on pollution. Built in conjunction with an in-class assignment and discussion.

Global Map of World Religions

This module from HUM1050 attempts a parallel presentation of the seven major world religions. Information includes visual imagery associated with each religion, statistics and customs, as well as an animating map depecting the geographical history of each religion since inception.

This module from POL1000 attempts to illustrate the American electoral process by examining the timeline of the 2000 presidential election. For many events, a second timeline depicts the historical significance and precedent.

Flash Communication Server AV Chay

Initial tests required several proof-of-concept iterations to illustrate the feasibility of introducing synchronous events to an otherwise asynchronous university. This is a pair of modules that together allow communication via audio, video and text chat.

Breeze Implementation

As Flash Communication modules were being developed, Breeze 4.0 was released and seemed a more robust solution for Capella. Implemented in two stages over a 14 month period, Capella University currently hardware has the capacity to support 2000 concurrent connections.

Random Layout

Inspired by a presentation by Brandon Hall at Flash In The Can, this module is an experiment toward a better implementation of random generation. A new layout is generated every time you press space.
